Technical T4 / T5 parts interchange?

Anybody know if you can swap T4 parts into a T5? I have a T4 with mechanical speedometer and a line on a T5 with an electronic speedometer. I need that 5th gear but want to run my speedometer with a cable. Any ideas?

You will need to find a mechanical spedo tail housing or convert the one you have.
I had an S-10 tail housing modified to use a mechanical spedomenter, it wasn't cheap, but I really wanted the mechanical spedo.

 

Any one know if the main shafts are interchangeable
