Show me examples of tuck and roll. My wife is going to get into this and she wants to see what people have done and she "wants to see the best examples of tuck and roll out there". (a direct quote from her)
Mike, isn't that what you do when you're on fire? Oh wait thats (stop drop and roll). Did you checkout that tech article from a month ago on doing tuck/roll int? Good shit! Shes going to hook-up the chevy for ya huh? Nice! p.s. the blown stovebolt would be fun.
Yeah that post has inspired her. She just wants to see how people have done it in the past. I'm think'n that you DO need some turbos/super charging on that metal making engine you have.
These door panels came with the car when I bought it. I did a number with AJAX and some upholstery paint to clean them up. I'm guessing they were made in the early 60's. Inside the rolls are filled with fibers not foam.

If you're trying to do it yourself I can try to give you some advice/direction, or if not I know where there's a good upholstery shop. I think I'm gonna set up a vendor space at the Round-Up, so I should be easy to find if you have any questions.
Speaking of tuck and roll.....Fatluckys..you have any pics that I can look at for helping me decide what style to go with? I saw your page. Looks like ya do nice work. What would you suggest for my 50 seats that you are gonna be doing? It's the pearl white material...skipstitch sent me a sample card.
Well, you asked for it. Here's Tuck's pearl white front seat. You can't go wrong with a basic horseshoe pattern.
One more- just for fun. Here's a Bates seat I re-worked for a HAMBer today. White with a Pearl white insert & black piping.
