Normally I can do some research online or, heaven forbid, in reference books and come up with my answer but this one has me puzzled. I grabbed the pics from an online auction, where it was not identified, no part numbers, etc. I probably should have bought it, but didn't. I've never seen another.

    Curiosity is killin' this cat.

Damn, mark me down as curious as well. Looks a bit like a Willys Aero or a '51 Kaiser hood bar but it's neither of those. Have seen a few aftermarket replacement/custom bars that look similar but not with those ribs nor those cutouts this one has on the ends. It's good looking, whatever it is.

I originally thought Willys or Kaiser too. But @Bangingoldtin nailed it. Thank you kind sir! Ain't the HAMB awesome? My well-worn American Car Spotter's Guide didn't offer up a good front shot but I found these online. Old ads for '51 and '52 Dodge. I can't think of the last time I've seen one of those, let alone a grill for one. I've had several '51-'52 Plymouth 3 tooth grills p*** though my hands. I'll have to keep an eye out at swap meets.

Wouldn't have guessed that, the peak looks much more pronounced in the first pictures, I wonder if it was modified? Looks to have had the ends trimmed down, maybe was in something custom at one time. I'll have to keep an eye out for one of these in the future, I like it.
