Figure I'd put it up on here to see if anyone has some collecting dust. I'd like to find some olds 88 tail lights to bolt in my 52. I really dig the subtle bullet shape of them. Plus one of my 52 lights are more pink and white than red.

Anyone have some they would let go for a decent price? They don't have to be perfect and I'm fine with having to sand and polish them. My car is a driver so they can have a little wear on them.

Yeah! I took 54 olds lenses 20211201_123319.jpg got my factory 53 lense and took a carbide bit in a die grinder 20211202_103354.jpg I relieved the 53 lens from the back in the center until the middle post deal fell off leaving a hole in the middle 20211202_103400.jpg 20211202_103509.jpg the 54 olds lens is almost a perfect press fit into the 53 lens. I opened up the hole in the middle of the 53 lense until i felt enough light was making it through to properly illuminate the 54 olds lense then i pressed it into place, heated a drill bit with a propane torch 20211202_102046.jpg slowly drilled/melted moumting holes into the face of the 53 lense that matched the 54 olds so now i screw my 53 lens in how it normally mounts then i press in the 54 olds lense and screw it into the 53 lense. Easy to change bulbs, looks cool as all get out, easy to go back to 53 factory style if someone wishes 20211202_113857.jpg
