I love the paintjob on the orange car in the background.

I have no clue as to what the tube grille'd car is.

    That would be my guess...

And I have a magazine with that orange Mini in it somewhere.
I'm pretty sure that car was converted to rear wheel drive by using a Morris Minor rear Axle.

    Hey,

My money says it's a Zepher MkIII from the '62- era.

  11. I'm with Metalshapes, that fin is the giveaway. Stu

  12. the car in the foreground is a zodi....the mini in the back ground did the rounds in the late 70s early 80s and did have a minor rear (on coils I think but don't quote me) the prop ran to a bearing and wasn't driven..still had the transverse A series and was still front wheel drive...
now the Mini in Warwick i have seen about has 2 Yamaha R1 engines mid mounted driving the rear wheels...the exhaust cans exit via the rear window and it is really rapid.

I'm also betting Lincoln Continental, based on the hood shape and roofline...and I'm betting the owner saw that movie "The Car" a couple to many times. Looks similar, but not as cool as the movie car.

...and the movie car wasn't that cool...LOL!

But if it's not a 'domestic' I'm retracting all bets.

Koppa, I know that car but it,s fun letting others guess. Question for ya. Is this the same car that Andy Stanhope had or was his a fresh build?

Me n Koppa always laugh about this that the UK rodders jump in and tell the others what they are...........We all know the makes, types n even the names but hold back so the rodders from other countries have a guess........Thats the whole point for these threads aint it ????

And it's a blast...I love KoppaK's posts of Euro and British customs, though I seldom guess right.

it is fun reading what the colonials think our car are though!! I bet even the builder of this weeks questionable car wished it was a Lincon!

No Russ, Andys car was a fresh build. He used a Granada(UK) roof on his.
