Great pen, ink and pencil. Fantastic work. This kind of work isn't seen much anymore in this pure of form.

Do you will believe everything someone tells you. On the opening page, it says $5.00. More than likely bought at a library book sale.

Had no idea Lee Pratt grew up in Desmoines.

    Interesting some Iowa roots.

In addition another with Iowa roots rather famous car guy / author who was born in New York but made his way west was Author Henry Gregory Felson..... (The Little books Hot Rods Author that every kid in the 50's and early 60's read.)
He lived in Iowa for more than 30 years, attending the University of Iowa and, ultimately, teaching at Drake University.

Nice artwork. In 1965, I checked out a book from the local library. It was a hardcover edition of Popular Mechanics printed in 1948. I still have it.

Yes, Peter Helck immediately came to mind when looking at earlier illustrations, just incredible artwork! But the later ones are my favorites. I see a Jaguar D-Type and the amazing German machines like the legendary Mercedes Benz SLR. The holy grail is the mid-engine Auto Union with its all aluminum V-16 engine. Wanna get goosebumps?..Just go to U Tube and listen to one of those things run

I found one! I’ve had it a few days and just now started actually reading it (it’s not just a picture book). It’s fantastic! And I’m pretty sure my next tattoo will be inspired by this book. So cool!

This book is simply multifaceted and unique. Looking at the photo, I realized that it is not only filled with artwork, but also a good source for researching the history of the race. Car models, drivers' uniforms, and pit-stop allow you to see the reality of the past. I even had an idea to write a small article. Not so long ago, I used https://***ignmentbro.com/us/write-my-***ignment to prepare a written ***ignment and learned to write similar texts with its help. Now I will write a little research about the history of racing in the past. I hope I can find a copy of this book and write my ***ignment.
