Neat close ups on cages and seats. I guess they turned the body around to drive it backwards poor ole woody winners circle
Funny-I keep an old, tattered copy of Leonard Maltin's movie book (mine is over 20 years old) and leaf through it while eating lunch. Today I came to this one! Better than I pictured; some great screenshots you shared. BTW, I think he gave it 2 stars.
Always loved their movies even though they were cheesy. Even though it has no cars to speak of in it my favorite was Angels with dirty faces with James Cagney. I think it was their first and they were billed as The Dead End Kids.
Interesting, that roadster above looks to me like a 26-7 on a 32 ford frame but the wheels do not look ford to me.
i've heard gorcey went to pieces when his father, bernard, p***ed away. bernard played the soda shop owner. huntz hall had success as a director and i remember gabriel dell having a tv show where he owned a bar...
Pretty sure 1932 Chrysler had the same bolt pattern. Or was it Packard. Anyhow i had one or the other and they fitted on my 1932 Ford .
I read an article many years ago about Huntz Hall in an old publication I believe called Reminisce talked about Leo Gorcey drinking heavily after his father's death and one of his last appearance in a movie was It's a mad mad mad etc... World.
