    Been a while....

I picked up this 40 Master Deluxe, and have been assembling what I have to determine what I need. One thing that is missing is whatever attaches the front sheetmetal/splashpan to the frame. I currently have a 2x4 holding it up so the hood will latch, if anyone has a pic of what is supposed to be there I would greatly appreciate it. If I can't find one I can make one if I know how it looks.

  2. U-shaped core support holds all the front tin together, do you have one?

I have the radiator mount, if that's what you mean.

These holes look like something is supposed to be under that pan, and screws down

Should have a radiator support that attached to the crossmember and allows the fenders to be
bolted onto....on in Ebay currently...lots of photos..

Looks like you're missing the front inner fenders that go behind the grill on each side. They span the area from the radiator support to the sides of the grill/front fenders. Inner fenders (firewall to radiator support), and front inner fenders bolt to the radiator support shown above.

Doesn't bolt to the frame, the front clip, (fenders, inner fenders, etc.), all bolt onto/off of the radiator support.

The black panels are what you're missing

Ah, thanks! Yes, I have the core support and inner fenderwells, but missing the front inner fenderwells. I'll probably CAD them out (Cardboard Aided Design) and fab em up. Thought it looked kind of 'open' up front.

The car runs and drives- sorta- I need to get a gas tank and fab up a floor section. Previous owner installed a fuel cell, because that's what he had. Still all stock running gear. Pretty solid for an 83 year old car.

Give Joe DiOrio a call. He'll have those parts used in stock.
