There's always one that stands out. 1934 Graham Paige Sedans always look tough in an old photo. But there's others.
OK I will add this link to a previous post from Jive-Bomber, - https://www.jalopyjournal.com/?p=15009
I have one of these 1935 plymouth two door slant back coaches out in the shed. It just shouts potential to me.
A friend used to own this tough looking 1928 Graham Paige, RHD imported to UK in 1930 by one of Al’Capones right hand men. It's a very well built car, I was surprised to see hydraulic external band front brakes on it, modern and old fashioned at the same time. I guess his right hand man needed a right hand drive car. He left his left hand man back in the states...
You're right, but his left hand man quite rightly felt Al had cheated him by being left behind and he had the right to give him a left hook to the chin!
I always thought that Diamond T trucks had that "tough" look with its slanted windshield and short roof height that looked like it was chopped from the factory.
Back when cars had a personality, and a definite attitude. That grille has a certain "SNARL" appeal to it.
