I finally took some pics of my cars/projects and thought I'd post them. The Cadillac has had pretty good progress made since the pics were taken and I shaved some of the emblems & ornaments off the '53 Ford. So.... here they are. (Fingers crossed)

    Top secret taillight treatment...Shhh!

p.s. the duct taped sponge is to keep the garage side door from ramming into the fender. Talk about tight quarters.

Essentially I cut the tail fins off and formed the fender tops from sheet metal. As you can see I've got the drivers side to do yet & the p***. side still needs some finish body work. Not a ton of Bondo on it, but I'm sure the other side will require even less. Maybe when I do that side I'll take some progress pics.

The '53 Ford. I've shaved the stuff off of the hood & the little V8 emblems over the front fender trim. Plans are to lower it (obviously), install '54 Mercury spears on the rear quarters, and fix the p***enger side rocker. It was rusted to ****, while the other is nearly perfect.

My wife is going to drive this one when the Cad gets on the road & she wants me to LEAVE THE HANDLES ON. Oh well, you can't win 'em all.

My dad's '59. The rear wheel openings are '61 Impala.

Last one, really. It's a pretty decent shot of the rear wheel openngs on the '59.

  13. Randy,
all I can say is, Unf***enreal. Well I shouldn't say that in public, how 'bout outrageous. [IMG] [IMG]

Don't think I'd sweat the doorhandles on the '53. But I run door handles on just about everything. So what do I know? [IMG] [IMG]

    Lookin' good

Been watching those 2 Caddy **** piles for the past couple of years. Both have come a long way since you and your dad got them. If you're ever back in the 'hood, drop by and say hi.
