I'm pretty sure my 1932 Ford roadster's fuel tank is a Vintique unit.

I bought the TANKS Inc. 5-hole pickup parts. That plate uses 1/4" NPT fittings and they're rather tall, so I'm worried that they won't clear the tail-pan when I set the body on (everything's painted :( ).

I'm looking at the stock style pickups that CW Moss sells because they are very low profile (no fittings), but don't know how to identify the capacity/depth of my tank. They sell one for a 12 gallon tank and one for a 16 gallon.

Does anyone have the measurement down from the sender hole to help me determine what tank I have?

I think my Deuce 16 gallon Tanks has a 10 inch depth at the fuel gauge pickup.

If I stick a tape measure in there straight vertical, I get a little bit more than 8 in...

That pic looks like a stock depth tank to me.

Mine are both out at the moment, stock tank is 200mm to bottom of thickness for sender unit.
So same as your photos show.
Looking at your photos, to the left of tape measure, - it looks like there are a couple of marks where the original 6 sender holes were.
Is your tank possibly an original ?

Thank you to everyone for your comments - I got to the bottom of it yesterday.
Apparently, the Vintique tanks are the only ones that have the triangular gussets on the top. A guy at CW Moss told me that... So mine is a Vintique unit not a Tanks inc. as I thought.
The stock size 12 gallon tank has a drain plug on the bottom and the 16 gallon does not - that's how you tell the difference

Does anyone know how much room is between the tank and the body at the sender?

Tanks brand also sell the triangular brace, but you have to attach it yourself.

Any chance you have a link or p/n ?
As I cannot seem to find it on their website.

    Thanks in advance!

FYI, I emailed Yogisinc, and they discontinued the triangular braces for the '32 tanks.

Seems like everything we use/need is getting discontinued.
I have a Tanks tank on my Tudor that didn’t have the triangles so I bought a set to put on the next time I need to paint it. I fella could make ‘em easy enough, but they were so cheap it didn’t make sense to spend my time on it.

I am not familiar with the triangles. Could someone describe (or photo) how they are installed?
    What purpose do they serve?
    Thanks.

All depends on what body you have... Brookville roadsters bodies have been produced with very high tailpans lately
