Vintage old… thing?

    Not sure what this is, found under hood of a 64 imperial LeBaron, I’m thinking either external electric fan or siren? Have to drill it out as the tiny bolt is stripped. 58C8BDF6-46E4-48DC-8D97-F90F07E05572.jpeg

    Looks like the letter "A" in the grille, may be the first letter in the makers name.

    Gotta be a horn, siren or something? A fan maybe? Tho that would be odd. Boats have blowers to blow fumes out so they don't build up and explode. Never heard of one on a car tho.


    Looks like Elvis Presleys microphone, lol.

    Yeah. looks like an old Federal Signal brand siren. Like caseywheels said, those things scream wired 12v. :eek:

    On most any domestic vehicle built around 1955 or later it should be 12 volts.
