History 1951 Mercury's past history ?

Hi.
Just looking for some history on this car.
I remember seeing a post where a guy said his bother built the car on the HAMB.
I'm looking at finding information on a few cars that ended up in Australia.

Yes, a Buick had sex with some Mercury parts.

 

Yes very different to your typical kustom mercury.
