right, so My wife sez the other day, you know what else do you have left to get the truck done, I say, I need to move the tank to the bed, work up and interior (somethin simple, just gonna do it myself after seeing the interior tech spot) and throw some hidden a/c in...she says, eh, you didnt get anything for your b-day so get yourself the fuel tank you want. I want that tank out of the cab so if you do get t-boned you dont get doused in gas and BBQ'd....so I started lookin, I dont have the room to put the tank in between of the frame out back due to having a bunch of other suspention related gear back there, and dont want to put a race fuel cell back there for the simple fact that it wont match the flow/feel of the truck....(I dunno, something about a square box in the bed of the truck I've spent countless hours streamlining) So's I'm thinkin a moon bed mount tank on the cool old school pedalstools....then I looked at the price HOLY OVER PRICED SHIT BATMAN!!!! have you looked at moons tank prices? what the hell? they better be made O' gold and take a leak for ya for that amount of $ (better part of 7 bills by the time you get the tank, mounts & fuel sender) Honestly, I cant see spending that on a gas tank no matter how cool it is.

So my question, is there anything else out there (specifically designed as a tank or not) thats 15ish gallons (More ok, but not too much less) and is old school cool? at this point the friggen tank is staying in the cab!

Or put the feelers out for a used one. I picked up an old 10 gallon moon tank with flip cap at a swap meet for $85. Just the cap goes for more than that in thier catalog.
