Hello, When my wife and I were 20 somethings, we had a 327 powered 1940 Ford Sedan Delivery. We also had the trusty 65 El Camino for our daily driving and long road trips. But, it was one of those things about being 20 somethings and our active daily lives. Our metabolism must have been on high all of the time. Or, we were still so active in our normal stuff and was involved in what was happening in our society during the 66-70 time period. We ate whatever and did not look like the Pillsbury Doughboy at the end of those days. Fast food was a developing concept and it took off from there. Since our local Jack in The box was about a block away, we did frequent it a lot. We not only got a couple of hamburgers each, but they were doubles. When we took a bicycle ride down the paved beach parking lot, we stopped at the Jack in The Box for some snacks. We all laugh at the name, Jack in The Box, but for us, we have not eaten at Jack in The Box since the early 70s. There are just too many other places where we like to go for convenience and food. Now, if that place was near our little tiny apartment, we would be eating there for all meals, from morning to night and even into the late night snacks. Jnaki It is a good thing we are not fast food diners at places like Jack In The Box. Otherwise we not only have to watch our income floating away, but our bodies would not fit in our cars, if we continued to eat as much as we did during our 20 something days… One of the first Jack in the Box places in Orange County near Huntington Beach. Since the late 60s and still going strong, today. Before Jack In The Box came to the diagonal corner at the Pacific Coast Highway intersection...
