I bought as I think a Lincoln 16 by 5.5 wheels here on HAMB ( se pic, black )
It has 3 clips as my Ford front 16 by 4 for hubcaps.
But as I heard the Lincoln should has the clips in the hub cap (?)
I will use Ford hub caps so I need a wheel with clips ( my guess )

But seller had only 1 wheel ( told to be a Lincoln ) so I found another one but it was my misstake but got a very nice wheel with clips but it's 16" but only 5" wide.

    First question.
How was the Lincoln wheels ( 5.5" ) on clips, as I like to know history.
-So on a traditional late style 40's 32 5W coupe, is 5" Ok or should I try to find another 'Lincoln' 5.5" vs the 'cool factor'.

If anyone read this and has 2 nice 16 by 5.5 with clips please contact me.

Maybe the picture is throwing me off, but that black wheel looks like a 15" Pickup wheel

Ford and Merc wheels had nubs, Lincoln had clips. I've never put Ford caps on a Lincoln wheel, but I think some guys do.

I usta have a 16x5.5" Ford wheel once. First and last I've ever seen.

I've had a bunch of 5 and 5.5 wheels. I seek them out an make pairs. I think I have 1 5 inch and 1 5.5 inch right now. To bad you're so far. I'd be interested in a trade. I don't think the width matters much. Anything 5 inches and up is pretty desirable.

See my Ford 40 front wheels, its 16 by 4 but lugnut area is not the same design as you show.
Your fronts lug nut area look like my Kesey Hayes 16 by 5.
( Maybe Ford send them out so design was not the same ?
