Hello, I have a 33 5 window with a 52 RT motor. Running a stock 33 radiator. As far as I can tell, no one makes a hose kit for this setup. Trying to identify hoses that will work for top, bottom should be much easier to find. Any help is much appreciated. Chris
***uming you have truck water pumps: I used ‘50 Mercury hoses down below. They are the correct diameter and have a gentle curve in them. Length can be cut. Up top, I used Gates adapters to upsize the thermostat housing output nozzles to the size of hoses needed for the earlier radiator. Don’t mean to be vague, don’t remember exact diameters.
I used 45 degree bends and a straight stainless piece for the uppers. Lowers i used aluminum offset parts for a 32 ford lower, and 2 straights
Thank you. Can you provide any more info on the 45s like part# or where purchased from. Setup looks nice and clean. Wish somebody made 1 piece upper hose. Thanks.
the 45's are from Summit racing, silicone with heat shrink clamps on the stainless tube. for an example https://www.amazon.com/45-degree-Radiator-Hose/s?k=45+degree+Radiator+Hose The lower are like the ones pictured in this thread https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/flathead-lower-hose-problem.1008364/
Here’s where I got mine https://www.siliconeintakes.com/turbocharger-part/ they say they are coolant compatible. Search around the site for stainless connectors
