********Note: A signature upon delivery will be needed on this FedEx shipped item******** This is a lightly used set of ZOOM Pro-Gear Ford 9 Inch 5.67 ratio 28 spline gear set in the high impact 9310 nickel "drag racing" alloy (not the 8620 alloy "street" alloy). They were used for a short number of passes in an 1/8 mile drag car (something like 20-30 passes). They have a very nice drive/wear pattern on them from one case install. The ring gear has 34 teeth and the pinion gear has 6 teeth. The numbers on the ring gear = 9017 1d [heart shape] 2 USA 34-6 X The numbers on the pinion gear = 9017-2d [heart shape] 2 6 - 34 USA The part number on the box is #189017 Both the ring gear & the pinion gear have had their sharp manufacturing edges smoothed/rounded. And the ring gear teeth have been clearanced on the toe (inner) teeth edges for greater clearance between the teeth and an aftermarket 9" case's 3rd/rear pinion bearing housing (see pictures). It's been sitting on a shelf for years, so it needs to be cleaned before it's setup/installed to remove any dust and/or any residual Loctite that might still be on the threads.
