Will be anxious to see Lumpy make a few passes with this car in the reasonably near future.

 

Jim I will probably run it at the next antique drags at Barona, but I will need to put a driveshaft loop on it to run slicks. It boils the street tires at will

 

@lumpy 63, congratulations it’s a nice one. What motor and transmission does it have? Also do you have anymore pictures of it that you can share? How did you find it?

 

It has a 377 sbc with an m21 muncie + a 12 bolt posi with 3.73s at the moment. I believe I posted as found pics on this thread ages ago , it had been in storage since the late 70s and the dash was hacked out also had a lot of very crude work done to it. I will see if Scotty will post some pics as Im at work at the moment.

 

@lumpy 63, it is a cool one and I can understand now how it boils the street tires at will. That is a stout combination with plenty of torque and horsepower. You did well to get it. They are getting tough to find on a budget

Yea, Mark. I'm following your other thread about your take on the "Lee Style" tails. That's a pigpile of opinions over there.
I normally don't like the 'Vette tails being messed with....... but I like these.

 

@moriarty, those taillight lenses are a nice custom touch and go well with your cars theme.

Looks plenty bright to me!

 

Most states only want red tail and brake lights. That's bright but may be too much white. Just saying.
