    Hey guys!
I finally figured out how to do a YouTube video and connect it to the HAMB board! I thought I would share the progression so far.
It has been about 3 years and a Couple months now…and
i am down to wiring and will be finally firing the old girl up in the next few weeks and hopefully driving it around my Hood! And scaring the neighbors, until it is finished.. Ha!!!
To those of you following my thread..
    Thanks so much!!
I would be following a-lot of others on here, but the navigation ****s!
I just book mark my build page, so that is all I really see. Without searching all over the place. Sorry.
I just really build, post, build etc..
    Running soon! Video (hope)

Great progress! Are you going to add a third link to your rear suspension setup? Or have you done something to strengthen the radius rods?

I'm referring to the rear axle wanting to twist under acceleration. With traction, the radius rods may bend (upward arch) or a mount could distort or break where they attach to the rear axle. Some will add a third link that matches the length and angle of the driveshaft to prevent the rear axle from wanting to 'twist' upward. Another method is triangulating the radius rods and basically turning them into ladder bars.

It’s triangled enough for me, I moved them in as far as I wanted to go. (They were parallel)….I wrapped the mounts around the 1/4 wall square tubing, and filled the space between the mounts with another gusset. The stock traction/radius bars go under the rearend, and are tied in with shock mounts made out of 1/4 angle iron.
I think i am good, even if I put in a souped up 302 later, if the flatty gives up the ghost.

90-100 horse Flathead… maybe a few more Horses with the Headers, 4 barrel, and Electric ignition?
The 3 Speed Top-loader is the weak link in this chain.
