Hot Rods 1939 Lincoln Zephyr Carcass

Owner got it whole and scrapped the rear because he said it was rusty.

 

Just wow...

 

What about the doors? Etc.

Those original first photo's lead me to believe the cars are yard art in a raised garden bed, I heard a fully restored 39 Zephyr recently sold at I believe the Kearney Ne auto show.

 

It's on the very back of a property so no yard art.

 

I think the question on everyone’s mind is can it be bought and saved from rotting into the earth ? One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.

Here is a 40 Dodge coupe with a 41 Zephyr front from southern Minnesota The car was built by Menges Twins’ Speed Shop

 

That Dodge is gorgeous. It keeps the Dodge fenders and hood which goes great with the Zephyr pieces.

 

Yes, It blew me away the first time I saw it, I had to look at it for quite a while before I figured out what had been done.
