WHAT YEAR AND PLACE WAS THIS PIC. TAKEN OF THE HOT RODS AND WHAT WAS THE EVENT, WAS IT EAST OR WEST COAST

Sad current state of affairs in these present days. Let us get back to happy. The race cars must have been some fancy units, due to the car number being painted uniformly and neat on the fourteen cars shown in the picture.
The Roadsters were in the Mines Field event a race track that is now under LAX. History - Mines field 1934 road race = l.a. Airport | The H.A.M.B. (jalopyjournal.com)
3 Little Pigs showing at the CAMEO. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three... Pigs is an,cost $22,000 and grossed $250,000.
The genesis of the Mines Field race was Elgin, IL that held road races for automobiles starting in 1910 through 1915, and then again in 1919-1920. After complaints from the public about road closures the race was abandoned until it was brought back in 1933 in conjunction with the Chicago World’s Fair. Ford sent eleven cars and they were lettered for different dealers. The field was 11 Fords, a couple of Chevrolets, a Plymouth, a Dodge and the Willys. I imagine after seeing the promotional value the event was brought to Mines Field in 1934 and run with the same automobiles.
Looks like the doors that roll up when the business is open. I don`t see any Graphiti. No broken windows. Being run down means different things to different people.
Exactly. Those roll-up security/shutter doors are used all over the world, and have been for many, many decades. What is the constant deal on here with bashing anything to do with California? Geeeeezzzzzz ...
Well, its because California is the land of fruits and nuts ! everybody knows that, sheesh ! The devil made me do it.
And we just have another lattee in January, in sleeves and short pants, while you folk are snowed in. Cmon, ya needed a comeback!
