OK guys I have one more copy of the very first issue of Tex Smith's HOT ROD MECHANIX, Volume #1 Issue #1. Never been out of the box, Never had a page turned. I got a few when I subscribed for myself and some friends when Tex first started talking about this book and long before they were actually published. Issue date is September 1987. Enjenjo got the last one I put up for auction and it did quite well. Auction ends when I turn my computer on Oct.1. Money goes to Ryan and I send the book to the high bidder. Happy bidding as they say you know where.

I'll throw in a copy of letters I received from Tex and Scott Smith while they were starting the magazine. Good articles about Merc customs, Vintage Tin etc. Pretty cool mag.

 

Tex promised to send me issue #1 when I signed up for the mag. but I never got one. #2 was the first one I got. So I will go 55 and see what happens.
