Event Coverage Lloydfest 2023 is in the books

Hey guys, with the thread locked on the Lloydfest, I've gotten a bunch of conversations about it. I'm impressed with how many guys checked to make sure we're still on. Unless I'm dead, we're gonna have a get together, don't ever doubt it. There is a thread on it under "other events". It'll start rolling after the Bowling Green reunion. Thanks guys, looking forward to hanging out, cruising, drag racing, and having a great time with all that can make it out!

Just guys being guys. No problem at all. I've gotten threads locked by being saying stuff I shouldn't have, I figured it would've been locked before now honestly. But Ryan told me that the post in the "events" section was less likely to be moderated like a post on the main board as long as it stays within the rules. Wasn't like the old thread had cars or technical info in it, just more conversation and cutting up than anything. The events post has everything listed in it as far as the gathering goes, but if anybody has ideas that can be implemented, feel free to throw them out there!

I wish I could join in, Big Guy.
But my old bones are most of a decade older than my old '50 Chevy truck which means my days of 'never leaving 'til I'm heaving' are now redacted history from "a long time ago in a galaxy far far away".
A 10-gallon gas tank divided by 17mpg compounded by a prostate that requires even more frequent pit stops, I could probably get there just in time to turn around and head for home.
You guys party hardy and keep the shiny side up.

 

My wife was undecided if she was up for the trip, I do believe that now she won’t let me go alone. We are looking forward to it, I figure 6-7 thousand miles by the time we get home. It’ll be good for the old truck.
