Aww come on guys I thought I was going to get a special award at the end of the season for being a pathetic loser. Then one day I just plain got lucky and won in No-E. I have a lot of respect for both you guys. Just hang in there and give-em Hell.
    See you at the track,

There you go.........Doug Coffman in Pleasanton. He has a shop on the south side of town. I went to high school with a buddy that has a trailer building place across the street if you can't seem to get in touch with him.

Common now, hamber being scammed by hambers, i thought you guys were the all american organization. I need a hamb relay, but i cant afford to buy the same thing twice because some one thought they needed it more than me.

COME CLEAN SMUCKS! either that or too many Weisers will get you a lost ******

It is entirely possible that the new recipient of the ****** isn't a HAMBer at all. It's also possible that they loaded up without seeing the thing or it fell off the trailer. Keep in mind there were no lights at all, we loaded up using our cell phones to set the straps. Just like the 50's BRO. Everyone was alos in an extreme hurry as you could see the storm rolling across the plains.

If they hit the trailer and that hing fell off they may never have seen it. Keep in mind they also weren't expecting a ****** on the trailer.

Sodbuster, you ever call that guy?

I just spoke to Doug and he said that they found it on his buddy's trailer and they sat it under the tree at MOKAN........he mentioned that he was at MOKAN this past week and it is still sitting there. So, you may track down someone locally in Joplin to pick it up and continue the relay to you. Maybe someone is going to GG's in Ft.Worth in a couple of weeks and can drag it there and relay it to you.

I'm going to Dallas this weekend. If there is anyone coming to T-town from Joplin before Saturday morn (I know, short schedule) I can get it to Dallas or OKC and get it a little closer.

    lol this is getting hilarious.

    1. transmission abandoned under tree
    2. several weeks later transmission is recovered, still under tree
    3. "worlds slowest relay" sees completion
    4. upon further inspection, the said transmission is in fact an IMPOSTER

will the saga of the shade tree ****** have another chapter?

    Here's the low down:

The ****** that got lost in Mokan was thought to be found, then went missing again!

river1 offered a replacement if the lost one wasn't found. Since it had been a while, and I figured the lost one would remain lost, I took him up on his offer.

Jerry brought the transmission from Phoenix to Tucson, and squirrel brought it down to Sierra Vista where I picked it up.

As the saying goes, all is well that ends well. I have a transmission (in GREAT shape, BTW) that should be in the car sometime soon.

I would like to thank everyone involved with both relays, and everyone else that offered parts, or ******s.

    Thanks,
