Event Coverage Hot Rod Drag Week 2023

Yeah, I know! My travels aren’t that far away from home anymore. About 150 miles is my limit anymore. Too many years on the road from can to can’t. 300 miles in one day and I’m beat for the next two days…

 

Man, this would be way cool to go to. The '55 should be a great long-distance runner, and still looks cool enough to entertain the other folk. Hmm...September? Still hot in Arizona. Let's check the vacation scheduler...

 

Drag week in my neck of the woods this year. Look forward to seeing everyone at Darlington and The Rock.

Holy ****, I got in!

 

Got in as well can’t wait and time to do some testing if it ever stops raining on Friday and Saturdays

 

the most important testing is to make sure you can drive the car for a few hundred miles.....that's the hard part about all of this!

 

I have good game plan for that and there are a few drag strips that are in our area that are different distances. I plan on bracket racing at those tracks over the next few months and plan to drive on the highway as well as back roads to shake out any bugs but that is a great tip.

I'm in Q which is Street Machine Eliminator. Basically the daily driver cl***. The fast cars in the cl*** run low 10s, and you're not allowed to go quicker than 10.00.
