    Hello,

Last week, m wife and I were out and about getting some needed sunshine between the rolling storms from the Pacific hits the area again with some flooding along the coast. This portion of the Coast Highway usually gets the most damage of any area with flooding and hillside/cliff erosion that comes down to the highway.

Then of course, it closes the highway until the road crews come in to clean it up or shore up the slide. This Green F-1 Truck photo was taken prior to the big slide from the past storm, the clean up and then again, with the next storm, closed again. It was closed for a short while.

But, many years ago, the homes on top of the cliff were in peril due to the crumbling cliff slope. That major effort to clean it up and shore it up took many months. The road was closed and quiet, until recently.

But, this Green Ford F-1 truck looks as if it is enjoying the coastal climate on this particular sunny day.

It is green, but definitely not a Hot Rod.

    I'm green. With envy.
Going in to cook corned beef now. Got a 3 pounder and some 805 beer to boil it in.

"Ne'er mind that Patrick. Some o' me best friends are snakes!"

  14. This is a HAMB member's car. (If I can think of his name, I'll edit to add that detail.)
I was honored that he asked me to create the Celtic Knot Shamrock theme shift knob for it.
We arranged to meet at the Lone Star Round Up Swap Meet where I was a vendor so I got to install the knob personally for him. :D

  15. Ya know, of all the cars I've had [little less than 150] I can only remember owning one green car: a '56 chevy 150 tudor and I never took a photo of it.
