Is there any value in a Lockheed T33 tank? Too big? Too small? Value?

A P38 tank is 305-gallons, and it the one people like.

How does the T33 one compare for size?

    I know it's 14'long. That's all I know at the moment. I haven't seen it yet.

It will be all about the diameter.

This is all pure speculation, as it is not clear if current SCTA rules will accommodate a fresh build.

It has plenty of room, the Markley Brothers second tank with the baby Hemi is a T33 wing tip tank. Later it was fitted with a BBC when Mark Dees had it and then a Flathead Ford with Tony Baron. There have been others. 2nd tank.jpg

Those are T-33's behind the two airmen. Different shape to the tanks.[IMG]

Just a side note, the Markley's took everything out of their first tank a P38 and put it into the T33 tank and picked up 20 MPH.
