Hi, I need the right side, upper grill half. Out lined in red, in the picture of my car. I just got a nice, near new, left side bar and I need the left side to match. I can get by for now but, would also like to find the lf & rt lower grill bars, too. Thank you, for any help. Frank
Do you not have one or you want a better one? Define "nice". The lower bar is one piece. I have one of those too. The center I have is dented in case you need one of those.
I just noticed that I said Left, Left, sorry. I didn't proof read The grill is complete. The picture is my car. My drivers side grill, is pretty good but, I got a deal on a "as new" piece so, if you look at the pic, you can see that the p***engers side is dull. What I want is matching pieces, as close as possible. The p*** side could be very slightly dulled that would most likely be able to be polished out. I didn't know the bottom half was one piece so, I need the whole, lower grill piece and it should come close to matching the upper. My center piece is also slightly dented but, I'm hoping to eliminate it and make a SS piece, to cover where they join. I like that look better and always like being a little different. I bought a new bumper, last summer so, I'm trying to make it all look nice.
I'll spend a little time tomorrow with some polish and send you a pic with it next to the newly re-chromed grill in my project car so you can get an idea of it's quality.
The first time I was stationed here was Dec.' 65 to Aug '66. Four more times after than for a total of 17 years.
Wow, you were there at the same time as I was. I was drafted Nov 16 (3 days before my 21st Bday) and got to Ft Hood, about a week later. I think I started Basic, close to Dec 1. I remember doing Night Fire in Jan, in the snow.
I went there after AIT. A holding ***ignment before VN. Here's the picture. The picture makes it look better than it is but as you can see it does shine up. It is pitted, no doubt about that.
