Event Coverage SEGA at Kil Kare Dragway- Ohio August 12??

I plan to go to the Oldsmobile Club of America's ( OCA)National meet in Dayton Ohio August 8 -12. I heard South East G***ers are going to be at Kil Kare Dragstrip on the weekend of August 12. I have seen it on a flyer from Kil Kare and also on a schedule on the SEGA site. I guess Kil Kare is about 15 miles away from the Olds meet. Anyway I am trying to determine what times the SEGA will run so I don't sign up for one of the trips the OCA is planning that will interfere with my plans to go see the g***res. I think that the SEGA will run Saturday and maybe Friday evening? I have not been able to talk to anyone at SEGA or Kil Kare. Any of you guys know? Thanks, Greg.

 

Usually they run on Saturday. But check to be sure. You're in for a good show. Have fun.

 

They do a Friday night get together meet & greet kinda thing, actual racing is on Saturday.Its definitely worth checking out.

 

Greg, they usually do a test n tune Fridays at 3 or 4 pm and go a few hrs. Sat. qualifying usually starts at 1pm. You can buy a ticket for both days or just Sat.

 

Where is the OCA nationals being held at,I was in that club years ago and would like to see what shows up.

 

SEGA racing is the best!! If I had the time and money, I’d race with them in a heartbeat! You are in for a real treat if you have not seen them before.

 

Yep right there in Dayton at the Marriott- Dayton University I think It's called. Starts on Aug 8th- goes to Aug 12th. Come over!
Thanks for the info guys. I think the Olds guys plan to go over to Kil Kare with their cars and so I guess the SEGA is Saturday? I did not sign up for the Olds "Field trip" on Friday evening. I think it's going to work out great!!
