Y'all came in looking for fuel issues. Surprise, site issue. Every time I open the 1st topic my phone vapor locks. Takes about a full minute to get back at it. Once it does all seems well. This has been consistent for about a week. Has anyone else got this? Figured I'd check before I go techy about it, and this is the only site doing it to me. Anyone else? I'm on an android if that makes a diff. Thanks. If the mods have to move this, okey-doke but thought I'd see if it was just me 1st.

Have you tried adding a booster fuel pump to your phone?

My iPhone has been like this for a few days as well. Doesn’t matter if I have all bars lit up or on WiFi.

Other sites (I don’t frequent as often though) don’t have the same lag.

My iPhone was doing that a few weeks ago. Checked for updates and there was one. Downloaded it and it fixed everything.

Have you checked the ****on damper fluid level on your device? You have to re-fill it if it runs low.
The proper way is to place your device in a jar then fill the jar with ****on damper fluid. You can also use tap water...

I know, I know...... you hear this all the time, but it does cure a mul***ude of techno-problems.
Shut the phone down. Not just a restart, shut it right down.
Leave it for a couple of minutes and then start it up again.
This really does seem to rattle a lot of **** out of the system, and is easy to try.

You probably need a pressure regulator app. Set it to two pounds max.

Sometimes it seems the Wi-Fi and cell data interfere with each other. What seems to work is to shut off the Wi-Fi in my phone and use data. I then turn the Wi-Fi back on and good to go.
Can’t explain why it works but it does for me.

I'm no internet expert, Just share my recent experience the last several months.
I use pc towers not phones. I did have some spotty service where I just lost internet for a minute then return. ..... Very random, I could not call my provider & complain .... just too random.

I play a villain on a online game :p .... Where the name Los_Control comes from.
They have been having serious issues with lag or intermittent internet service.
This game the players are from all over the world .... The server is in Canada. I live in USA.

We do not care about online games here .... I get it.
Since all the intermittent internet has been going on .... it is a big deal for a game. A properly dressed player will carry a stone that cost $5 USD .... You die because the server lost internet ... your pissed.
You lose internet playing a game you notice it instantly when it happens.

I'm suggesting that some really smart internet people are working on it as a group .... several people from around the world are running trace routes on internet connection around the world.
While the server is in Canada, the internet will affect Brazil, then randomly, Russia, move to USA .
So far nobody has been able to figure out why. While watching the trace routes they can follow the hops to the point of failure .... nobody knows why that point failed for a few seconds, then moves to a different point.

I can watch youtube videos. They buffer or download ahead of time.
I can lose internet while watching, then it comes back on before the video is affected.
I can not load a new tab or a new forum post during this time .... you have to wait for the internet provider to catch up.

Just saying something has been going on with internet around the globe for several months.
That I have noticed. Then the type of connection you have makes a difference.

I'm on an Android using Chrome. I just opened the 1st Thread...no problems. Actually all seems normal. I posted in the Artshow and replied to a few Threads...all good.

I am on wifi from a high speed modem by one of the major providers this way...I also have a Desktop Computer...no issues with it either...

You're in Michigan...not really too far away geographically. There has been a heck if a lot of weather related issues stretching over wide swathes of the US...perhaps that's effecting it...

Restarting the phone and even your modem may help...

Delete all your History on your phone while your at it...

The replies are awesome, how can you not love this joint.

So today, just now, didn't happen. Yesterday I was in and out a ½ dozen times, happened every time. I have dumped memory, restarted, shut down, got rid of excess pics n data, and tossed out useless downloads, but it still did it. Also yesterday it did it on another forum although it only lasted a few seconds. Here it's been up to a full min at times. Now today nuthin, smooth sailing. Of note we did have random power failures for the last few weeks. Wifi, here or shop, same/same. I was patient to see if it was a site issue and it seemed here the most and worst. Thanks you guys...

Ok, left this topic and seized up again on a 2nd. Locked up long enough I shut the app and reopened, then did it again but not too long, 10 sec maybe. Head scratcher...

I think your spherical density is out of spec. You may have to re-configure the plasma array!

I recall that some time ago the app for this site was a bit wonky and prone to be sluggish and erratic. The general consensus then was to un-install the app and access the site using your devce's browser. I don't have a smartphone, but on my Android tablet the site usually runs pretty smoothly usung Firefox.

That corny joke is all I got. I don't have an android or a "smart" anything.
I just have a landline that is strictly for spam calls.
I do have a checkerboard that the dog ate some of the squares which interferes with my game playing, though.

The app was discontinued some time ago over underlying changes to the use of data which Ryan wasn't going to accept. So all access is via a Web browser, irrespective of the device.

I don't believe this is an issue on our end. Or, if it is, I can't reproduce it and the server logs show no evidence of it. Sorry man... But I will keep an eye on things.

    Hello,
If you clear your Google history, all of the sites you visited disappear. Do the all "delete all time" tab. that clears all of your search. Who wants to know what you searched 5 years ago or even when you got the new phone. So, that is for Google, if that is the website search engine you are using. If you use anything else, (not so good on all counts) glitches may happen. So far, google is the best.

    1. clear cache has been mentioned... google... open chrome...history tab... clear browsing history usually does it
    2. Also on your computer web search engine... also google, do the same thing in settings. "clear all browsing data"

    3. Finally, cookies and site data tab and cached images and files: CLEAR DATA

    Jnaki

I do this weekly and some times daily on my computer. On my phone, it is not normally used for searching topics like on my laptop google search engine. So, I still clear history and cache when I feel there is a glitch or two. A full restart anytime usually gets to the problem, too.
