I can think of a few better uses for a wench than to pull a fender out. I would have used a WINCH instead. Remember wenches are for lovin!

I noticed the neat tail lights earlier. Nice mod and they turned out sharp.

A little update on the olds. I made tail light delete panels and welded them in. I cut n buffed the car some ( got rid of the white rattle can spots) and did plug wires snd have been enjoying driving it some.

I need to drop the rear the same now but I’m waiting for new tires first.

Looks good, I like the Lyon caps. This car must have seemed unreal futuristic when it was new in 1948.

Do you think you'll blend in the fender caps to the old paint, or are you planning a full repaint?

You should enjoy it. It's one fine looking automobile. Joe

hey thanks man I’ve been holding on to this 16” Lyons for 10 years. I plan on blending the tail light caps for now. I am a fabricobbler that has kids with no shoes. So some day I’ll re spray it but for now it is what it is until the temp gets over 55 degrees then I can dust the spots.
