Technical Flames, thumbs up or thumbs down?

My flames.

 

The first two are flames and the last two are fire. Not a big fan of the fire, but it depends on the owners taste.

I'm not wild about these flames, but what I do like about them is that the flames actually start as black on blue, but then turn into blue on black. I like that. It's the shape of the flames on the doors where it loses me.

This car has the same thing, where the flames start out around the grill as dark blue over light blue, but then transition to light blue flames over a dark blue background. Again, IMO i's over done down the sides of the car, but the start is bitchin.

 

I think that the flames should be on the hood and fenders and sometimes move a little onto the door. The cars that are flames from front to rear, roof, trunk, and more just make the flames look like "garnish".

These early style flames outlined in white I like - in fact, I like ALMOST everything about this car...any more info??

 

Here's my Merc. The paint has some "issues" and I can’t justify a full re-paint so I did it up like a car that was painted in the sixties and put behind the garage for decades. My best rattle can work (Tractor Supply).
