So who lives in Iowa? I'm in Des Moines, just looking for the cruise nights.

You got Porky's, the Chilli King, The Hardee's on the NW side, Daytona's does something once in awhile.

Is the Broadway Diner in Johnston still doing theirs on Saturday nights?

Yeah I hit up Porky's last night (incase you were there I was the young kid in the leather jacket and blue jeans) and it was a bunch of new stuff or rich man rollers, maybe two/three oldskool rides. Bummed me out.

I'm down in the souithwest corner of the state,just a little Friday nite stuf here.

Of course Saturday is always TUB&TAIL nite, come on down ,we got a whole bunch of new sheep, you can have your choice!!

 

Porky's isn't what it used to be. Too much new stuff. I don't know of anything around here now. Last time I was at Hardees, it was mostly muscle cars.

 

*sigh* what's this state coming to? By the way, does anyone in the Des Moines area want an extra pair of hands around the garage? I'm looking for experience elsewhere since I don't have a place to build my own.

There was a pretty extensive post about Iowa Hambers a month or so ago. Things wrap up pretty fast after school starts here. Pattonsburg, MO October 8th aint bad. I'm shooting for Quincy, Ill October 13-14-15. The whole show is pretty cool, free admission and not a bunch of trophy chasers. You new to Iowa?
