Wondering if anyone using a model A frame and running a flathead was able to make 35/36 front wishbones work unsplit?

The wishbone is alot longer than that of a Model A stock wishbone. You would have to make a special mount and it would be under the transmission. Also have to cut off the front spring perches.
If using a model A axle, you would need 1/4" spacers.

I’ve cut the perches off, building a mount off the f1 crossmember isn’t an issue. Just curious if anyone has done it or if there is oil pan interference

I'm about to try this. I'm pretty sure that the bone I have is a 35. At first glance and pulling a tape it looks like the ball will fall really close to an f1 crossmember.
29 roadster pick up, 8ba, 3 speed, radiator moved forward to clear truck fan/wide belt. Front double crank pulley 3/8" from front spring U bolts
Who else has tried a 35 wishbone?

If the pulley is 3/8” from the spring clamp, can you get a belt on?

good point alchemy! I intend to try to move it back as far as I can without cutting the fire wall. After your comment it will have to be at least the width of the belt away. It's all in mock up at this point.
I think that you just saved me a ton of headache. Thanks!
