Need help to identify long lost rust

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Rustahaulic, Sep 19, 2006.

  1. While visiting my family this weekend my dad told me there was quite a bit of old iron in a ravine where he used to deer hunt...so I hiked in and found it... a bunch:eek: of great old iron peacfully rotting away and falling into this ravine a piece and a car at a time...I was able to identify most everything,...but here are a few that I couldn't...here they are...I know somebody will know what these are...

This thing is cool. Instant hotrod. I would be dragging all of this home after I contacted the owner of the property.

Unreal that stuff like this is still sitting around the woods. Down here there would only be a red spot on the ground where the car used to be, before the rust ate it.

  14. What you guys think is a 20,s Buick could be a 20,s STAR. They have almost the same grille shell. If the emblem is laying on the ground it should be an enamel star in a circle.
The cool little tub thing could be an early 20,s Olds.

  15. I figured 20's on the one sedan (star or buick huh...cool! the doors and roof are lyin in pieces in the backseat..as for the complete body w/ glass i figured for mid 30's but I knew it wasn't a Ford, and was probably a mopar product....and the little bucket is just cute....they don't have to be Fords to be cool huh!....I'm gonna rescue them anyway before it turns to nasty weather...

The top photo is a 20's Buick (the windows operate on chains) The second looks like a 20's Dodge. And the last two are 35-36 Ford.

  20. Thanks for the mix of answers...I now have an idea what the first 2 might be...but the 3rd is definatly NOT a Ford...I tend to agree w/ the dodge/ply answers..thanks ya'll..
