History 27 T Old race car

Hey fellas, I just picked up this neat little T roadster body. Rumor is it ran on the salt at some point. Just curious if anyone out there has seen pictures of this car from back in the day or has any info. Thanks!

 

Rules back then were Roadster/Altered, engine could be set back up to 25 percent of the wheelbase. Anything with more set back would be Modified Roadster. These are NHRA specs, not sure about Bonneville rules back then.

 

I have a nice PU box I would trade for that turtle deck. Nice find!

Great start, what might be your build plan for the Roadster? Hope you find some history. Where in Colorado are you, I'm on the western slope. If you need some sub frame parts I might be able to help. Looking forward for this thread... Mike

 

I’m in Ft. Collins area. Not sure on the build plan just yet. Waiting to see if anyone digs anything up. Good to know that you have some parts. Thanks for the reply!

Recall someone saying that there is a min-width for the roadster class, which is why Model a's are prevalent vs T's?
