Projects Finally on my way to a new A model

Finally started to collect parts for a new build, a 28A RPU (Again). Still have my 401 in storage and here is my living room collection so far!

 

I like the way you've decorated the place .

 

The quick change is a nice decorator touch

 

I showed your living room to my wife. She said that you must be a batchelor.

 

I had a chopper on my dining room table until the new wife came along. Keep on building.

 

Hey, when the bedroom gets filled up, what else can ya do?

 

Oh man! I've got to keep my stuff in the basement! But wait, if my housewere pushed thru the earth it'd pop out down under upside down, so that would then be the living room... Okay so I'm missing something here. Oh well, doesn't matter, only fall off again anyway.

I must say, I love my Halibrand 201 QC, that and the B262 intake for my Nailhead!

Moved up here to Queensland and have been sitting on my arse fighting with the DVA, putting what I can away for one more build and thought what better place to find some inspiration. So forked out for the start of another A and here I am.

Me, Muttley and Germ, the antichrist, nah were just very naughty boys! I'm surprised so many of you remember me, am I that annoying?
Plans for the build are to go high boy on 32 rails, will be a log term build as $$ are tight but man is it good to be back in the game.
Thank you guys for the welcome home, it's quite humbling!

I get the feeling there's a few folk finding their way back here.

 

Hit a milestone point for my 401, I secured myself a great pair of 425 heads for it! Now this may seem like a small triumph in the USA but the Nailhead was never sold in Australia so finding a pair is a great achievement (Well, maybe not but I'm on a high here!)
Bit by bit, it will be done!!

 

Good stuff, finned valve covers and a valley pan would look great on that.

 

Very cool! Will be nice to have a nailhead where there aren’t many. Not sure I have seen any in the time I have been in Australia the last couple weeks.

Another part of the puzzle, 42-48 diff to use building my QC. My christmas present to myself!

Thats what I was thinking. Open drive too, I'm probably wrong here but I was under the belief that car diff's had torque tubes?

 

That will be from an Aussie ute, they were open drive & parallel leaf - factory. 4.11:1 gears
