Hot Rods Rolling bones Ken Schmidt Passing.

Timeless.

 

I went out to Speed Week with the Rolling Bones in 2013, 8 days after I retired. Ken, Keith, and the rest of the gang could not have made any of the participants feel any more welcome than they did. I always teased Ken and Keith as I ran into them from time to time that, after buying the full package with meals and the truck and trailer rental in case of a breakdown, that whenever they needed a part I would search the absolutely stuffed trunk of my avatar and come up with it. I came up with stuff they could not believe actually came out of my trunk! To say it was one bucket list item that surpassed all my expectations is an understatement ….. he will be missed.

 

A true hotrodder in every sense of the word. He will be missed.

I spoke today with someone that went to the service for Ken Schmidt. He told me that it was a tremendous turnout. Ken deserved it, but he is already missed, and will be forever.
