Technical '39 Ford vs Mercury seats

Not finding the answer doing searches on here or Google. Are the front seat frames the same or different between a '39 Ford sedan and '39 Mercury sedan? Thanks for the help!

Tried searching, haven't posted the question there yet however.

 

I can measure my 39 Merc seat if you'd like. Being a wider car i'd say the seat is also wider.

 

That's what I'm thinking too. I got the merc, seat frame is a little ragged but coming along. Found a nice 39 ford seat cheap. Frames look identical, but it's that width that I'm not sure of. Thanks for the offer tho!
