Anyone have some loose main jets for a 97 that they could measure the width of flats and diameter where the wrench socket would fit over? I want to mill one up (jet wrench) but I don’t have any loose ones to check. I also saw somewhere that the new jets are .010 bigger on outside??? Any truth to that? Thanks

Wow that was quick! Thanks man! I did not know that snap on made a socket. Just ordered one on the bay for $18.

Not sure what’s going on with these carbs. The tmc46 socket was to big would not fit into threads in carb. I found snap on had made a tmc 42 socket that worked it was smaller.

    TMC-42 fits the EE-1 jets.
    TMC-46 fits the EE-2 and EE-3 jets

Somewhere, where is a dude with a Packard 12 that could use your TMC-46.

Stick it in a lathe and turn it down.

Turning it down would allow the TMC-46 to be inserted into the carburetor; but it still wouldn't work. The "double D" socket of the TMC-46 is larger than the TMC-42.
