If you need to learn what it cost to get this picture, go read "The Flags of Our Fathers", by James Bradley. Of the six guys who raised the flag, only three lived to go home from Iwo Jima. And it cost them more after that. James Bradley learned and he told us in this book. Every time we drive to Tucson, we go past the road that leads to Ira Hayes house where he died.

The photographer, Joe Rosenthal, p***ed away just last month.
Thanks for posting the uncropped picture. You hardly ever see the whole thing.

I'll get off my soap box for now and get back to the real reason for this thread. Picture of me and my truck coming.

So, you guys are OK with a greaseball biker/redneck/yuppie wearing American flag colors (not even a flag mind you) as a bandana and wiping their sweat with it... simply because they were born here... but it's not ok for a guy who has more respect and love for America than most Americans to accidentally drop a red, white and blue bandanna on the ground, just because he was born over there? A guy who has to WORK at keeping an "American lifestyle" How many of you would maintain that liftestyle if it cost you $8 a gallon for gas and had to pay import fees and shippiing charges to drive an old car... and wear/ fly American flags in a part of the world that doesn't support the US? I think the Euro guys deserve a LOT of credit and you guys have your priorities in the wrong place if you're going to get this bent over a bandanna.
