Any one know what this engine is or built from?

 

The article said it was two crosely motors.

 

If this person worked at the plating shop in the 50s early 60s , he worked in a very unhealthy environment . Probably died a horrible painful death .

 

Ah, thats what I thought; couldn't pick out the cam cover and other details, see it now. Where can I find the Article?

 

This engine pops up every couple of years, Don't remember if there was any specific info. Possibly one off. Opposed 4 cyl with 2 exhaust valves per cyl.

Aussie FB Holden (1960-61, 138ci, 3 speed crashbox, 3.89:1 banjo).

I think he flooded it.

As an aside, I drove mine through water about 4” shallower than that. It was fine… though the generator ****ped out 200 miles later.

That’s about the strangest version of a ‘58 Chevy I’ve ever seen. Any more info on it? It looks like it’s from the early (and short-lived) injected funny car days.
