These are the pieces I have for a 1940 Lincoln Zephyr front bumper, does anyone have a breakdown of how it all comes together? I know I’m missing the middle piece. Can anyone take pictures of the attachment hardware. I really want to run this on my 1936 Ford.

Looks like my -41 Lincoln bumpers , -40 Lincoln is thinner bumperguards and bumper ends see third picture ... Looks like your missing the bracket that holds the two center ribs together ... I dont have the picture from behind but found a picture here on HAMB of someone selling two front 41 Lincoln bumpers where it can be seen how that bracket ties the ribs togehter with the bumperguard , bumper-end and bumper bracket ... : https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/1940-1941-lincoln-zephyr-bumper.1206489/

The vertical bolt has a spacer tub spacing the upper and lower part of the bracket , the Bumperguard has the thread for the bolt that ties all parts together ...

Perfect, that's what I thought it would take to attach all of this together. Brackets look easy enough to make.
    Thasnks @TinWolf
Does anyone have the middle bracket?
I may just ask on the Wanted ads.

I think in the middle if I don't find the bracket, I will cut a piece of tubing and run a bolt thru it and attach a acorn nut on top to give it a bit of flare.

Man these bumpers are hard to find, I've bought pieces at a time and it wasn't cheap. Nothing Zephyr is.

The 41 Lincoln bumpers are pretty and not all common on a -36 Ford , do you have the original -41 Lincoln rear bumper ? My buddy used a -46-48 Ford bumper for his -39 Merc with -41 Lincoln bumper guards but it took some serious cut and splice in the bumper guards to make it look good , the original -41 Lincoln bumper doesnt fit the curvature of the Merc , dont know what it would look on a -36 Ford . Any pictures of the lucky -36 Ford receiving Lincoln bumpers ?
Famous picture with both -41 Lincoln bumpers were Rita Haywood promote a metal drive for the war effort , lucky for us some were left out of the blast furnace ...

No I didn’t win, I was so busy that day I couldn’t get to my phone to bid.

The bumper is now on, I had to Bend some 40 Ford brackets to mount the bumper, made the mounts to connect this bumper all together. This has been a pain in the a$$ I’m about 80% done. Hoping this weekend to finish it.
