Is there a way to get registration on line? I use to get it in the mail, but skipped a year and now nothing. I need to get the 56 legal for the Day at the Drags. Also, its not in my name, its still in my parents names.

I don't know of any online registration (there may be, and I just don't know)

If you call the courthouse, and talk nice to the lady there, she may send you a renewal in the mail anyway. Just ask. They've done it for me before.:D

can online register online if your tags are good still. One thing not alot of people know about, here in Travis county the tax ***esors office is open at 7am! no one is there, you can be in and out in a few minutes. Just got the update on my caddy and truck in under 5 minutes the other day

I've skipped a year(or 2) before . If you take the last renewal notice you have they'll take your money and give you plates, or sticker as the case may be. You can take the ***le along with proof of insurance and you can register that way, too.
