Thanks Russ I'll try and get mine posted later, good to me you at last however fleeting it was. Sad state Rubellion was in.

Thank you very much. Roarin Rat's bringing back some memories.

What's that little coupe with Dodge Red Ram valve cover?

WOH I really need to make it over to that sometime.

  10. Nice picks.
I had a great weekend even if I did get beat by a 4 banger in the meltdown.
Must buy some speed equipment now:D

  11. That's Rubellion.....Austin Ruby, used to have a blown V8 and a frame that flexed up and down as the driver came on and off the throttle and would lift one front wheel as the frame twisted due to the torque. Built by Pip Bibblecome in the 70's It always has been a favorite of mine and I still want it. I actually quite like the state it's in but it's a real shame it's lost it's 8 pot and blower. Anyone know anymore about it now and who owns it.

No ****, I thought that's what it was, I knew it, something familiar about that car. I'm glad it's still alive but man it looks like it's been through hell. It had a supercharged Daimler Hemi in it, right?

Is Pip Biddlecombe still building stuff?

Somone needs to do a book on UK hot rod and custom history, I'd buy a copy.

Is that a homemade intake? It's wild.

  19. No Idea if Pip is still building stuff but Rubellion did have a blown Daimler...and I think Jim did make his own intake....

I'm pretty sure that's a Renault Dauphane (sp?). VW running gear though, judging by the wheels and exaust. *****in'.

I'm bummed I missed the meet though, was hoping it was a week or two later as I just got back from a trip to the states (saw a nice Shoebox though, so it's not all bad).
