Greetings to the Vintage rodders I've met and hope to meet

Hello, I was searching for a way to introduce myself and after much pondering finally decided no better way than the man who introduced me to cars. My father. Originally from North Dakota he was stationed at Fort Lawton here in Seattle. Dad bought a new 1952 Chev Hardtop from University Chevrolet pulled the motor shortly thereafter and installed a GMC 6. The car served dual purpose as a daily driver and a weekend racer. A year or two later he acquired a 37 Chev coupe and installed a Wayne 12 port. The 52 was now just relegated to a lowly F/Gas tow car for the quicker D/Gas 37. I never had the chance to see either car make a pass as I was not yet a glimmer in his eye when he quit racing. But I loved to hear the stories he would tell as the two of us attended many car shows together later in life showing his 52 Chev. Sadly, Dad has passed but the car still lives on with me. I still feel his presence whenever I take it for a cruise. Even though I have heard the racing stories 100 times, I would give anything to hear him tell them one more time.
