Found this and works great! Base is silicon rubber so it doesn't slip and has weighted ends. Has removable sleeve to accomodate large cups. Not cheap at $25 but works. Called Couch Coaster.

Isn't the glovebox big enough for a pint of Old Granddad?

This is precisely why, "gimbaled" drink holders were invented for motorcycle enthusiast's,
and a few drunk boat owners !
    Your results may vary!

I use to use a roll of duct tape but it would rock back and forth on the front bolster of the seat and spill the coffee.
Thought of putting something up near the dash but that was too long a reach. I'm lazy!

A roll of 4 inch wide masking tale ( on the floor to the right ) was my cup holder for at least 10 years

I usually travel by myself and I have tried all sorts of drink holders, I found this not so expensive rubbermaid contraption works well Holds cans, cups, large stainless tumblers cell phone and charger cords pretty much anything you need at a reasonable reach. On the rare times when my wife or Grandkids are riding in the right seat (bucket seat car) I put in in the back set and they are my server bench seat no problem just set it in the middle. Joe

I pull it over by the trans hump before I leave. But I could reach that with no problem sitting where it is

I use a movable arm rest/drunk holder from a pontoon boat....works great. This isn't the actual one I use, mine's gray and somewhat matches my interior...

    I like it!

Need a coffee holder solution for the Rambler, I like that you can just put that on the bench seat.

I love this! I've got one of these oil filter covers, and it doesn't fit any of my hotrods. Now I know exactly where it's going to get used!
