Is it me or there is something I'm not catching about building a 1929 Roadster with it's original frame , when most of those I've seen are built with a 32 frame...?Oh ! I know that I will stay with the original frame but I had to ask about it...Don

Is there a question in there somewhere? A lot of Model As are built on original frames.

32 has a 3" longer wheelbase. Can give you more leg room.

  7. One reason for the 32 chassis is the look.
The other could be it’s sturdier than the A

32 frame is MUCH stronger in stock form and has all the fittings for a V8. The model A has no K member so ideally needs additional strengthening for rodding purposes. All down to what you want and what you plan on doing with it. I think a lot of model A roadsters ended up on 32 frames because it was the cheapest way to get a V8 roadster as 32 roadsters were rare.

32 is stronger than an A, longer means more engine room too.

    Mostly about aesthetics! Opinions differ.
