Technical What is it about the field cars?

Man, I need to move to America! Much of the cars you guys are calling 'to far gone' would be 10 grand+ starting points over here in Oz. I looked for almost a year to get a 28A Cowl and doors that were in good condition. I paid $1,500 for what I have, all of it needs rust repairs too,
If you want a turn key car go buy a fiberglass car built by a shop. If you want a Hot Rod, take what you can find and fix it. If you dont know how to fix it, find someone who can teach you or even take a course to learn how to do it.
For fuck's sake are you Hot Rodders or kit car builders?
Save everything you can or all we will have are re-pro cars. You don't want to end up like us, this is a good starter project car here for 12 Grand (Just the parts you see!)
